This is also why it can effectively conserve fuel consumption. Once a driver presses down on the gas pedal, this is when the internal combustion engine comes back to life. There are also hybrid cars that are able to run solely on electric power. This is an especially desirable feature for those who just use the car for quick local trips. This could make it so you don’t even have to put fuel into your car for longer than you ever imagined possible.

Of course, in this type of hybrid car, you have to consider putting gasoline for long travels. You can even say that the combustion engine is just a backup for the more efficient electric one. That’s all there is– just a battery for energy storage, a generator, a conventional combustion engine, a fuel tank,and an electric motor. Now you know why it is called a Hybrid Car.
